Daily Routine

Once everyone has arrived the children participate in teacher directed activities, which include stories, songs, finger plays, poems, weather, calendar and movement activities.

Indoor play: Various stations are set up in the centre. During free play time children are encouraged to visit them. We will ensure that all activities are easily accessible to each student. These centers include:

• Dramatic Play Center – This area is set up for children to enjoy role-play. There will be props and dress-up clothes provided.
• Transportation Center – Children love imitating activities that they have observed in the world. This seems to be especially true of activities that involve motion or sound. Available to the children are small cars, trucks, mini people and house. We regularly rotate landscaping props
• Sensory Center – Providing sensory-based experiences facilitates body awareness and motor control.
• Listening Center – We have set up a quiet area for children to enjoy a story from a book or from a recording.
• Science Center – A strong science center will be established and maintained throughout the year.
• Art Center – This center allows children to spend time creating their own works of art.
• 60 minutes a day for Outdoor play time - planned activities as well as free play on, and with play time equipment.

Fine Arts Instruction: A portion of each class will be set aside for Fine Arts instruction.

Learning center – we teach alphabet, number, writing, phonic by using different program.
